Teaching the Critical Role of Peer Review in Science

Andy Zucker and Penny Noyce have produced Resisting Scientific Misinformation: A Curriculum Unit for Grades 6-12, designed for a week of lessons.

Lessons 4 and 5 focus on teaching students to appreciate the central role of peer review in science, incorporating links to brief videos. As a case study, commercial products that promise to make babies more intelligent are examined.
